1. Welcome in the courtyard of the farmhouse
As soon as you arrive you will be welcomed by Matteo and Alfredo, in the courtyard of our farmhouse where you will begin the tour from there.
2. Visit of the fermentation rooms
As a first step you will visit our fermentation cellar where we will show you how the transformation of our grapes into wine begins.
3. Visit of the bottling and packaging room
The second part of the visit is developed by continuing in the more technical room, where you will directly see the machinery used for bottling and labeling our wines.
4. Visit of the barrique cellar
The visit continues in the underground cellar where we age our selection of Barbera d’Asti in oak barrels, here you will be shown the aging technique and why it is important.
5. Wine tasting
It is finally time to taste our wines, inside the historic cellar in the barrique cellar we have our renovated tasting room where you can taste:

• Nizza Riserva “Rivè” – aged 30 months, deep and elegant, with great structure, aromatic complexity, and long persistence
• Nizza “Mumbersè” – aged 18 months, intense and enveloping, with notes of ripe fruit and a perfect balance between freshness and body
• Barbera d’Asti Superiore “Savej” – aged 12 months in wood, rich and complex, with soft tannins and spicy notes
• Barbera d’Asti “Anno Domini” – structured and bold, with evolved aromas and excellent persistence

The guided tour takes place in the heart of the Monferrato landscape and includes a visit to the fascinating infernot dug into the rock.
The highlight of the experience is a Deluxe Tasting of five different Ruchè expressions.

FIRST STOP:
1st panoramic point and stories by Cesare Pavese
The first panoramic point you will reach will be the Terrazza Tojo, one of the most evocative places ever and the setting for Cesare Pavese’s stories. In front of you you can admire the Gaminella hill, the medieval tower and the Church of the Madonna della Neve in Moncucco.
SECOND STAGE:
2nd panoramic point
You will then head towards Canelli, arriving at the Torre dei Contini, another place with a breathtaking view.
From this point on, you will be free to head towards the route you prefer, more or less long, and then return to the Tojo winery.
THIRD STAGE:
Tasting
At the end of the e-bike tour, we will welcome you to let you try our tasting. Tasting of three of our wines, allowing you to savor the fruits of our labor and appreciate the nuances of flavors that characterize our territory.
Everything will be accompanied by cheeses and cured meats from small artisans of the Territory.
It will be a moment of conviviality and sharing, where you can ask questions and deepen your knowledge of the world of wine.

An authentic, engaging, and introductory tour designed for those who want to discover the world of Tenimenti Famiglia Cavallero through the stories of our family and a visit to the most iconic areas of the winery: the vault of historic vintages and the wood room, where our reds are born.
This is followed by a guided tasting of four wines, including a white and three reds, with a focus on Ruchè, our signature wine. The experience concludes with a taste of Vermouth di Torino Superiore, an elegant, aromatic interpretation of Ruchè.
All accompanied by our artisanal breadsticks.

MONFERRINA 4.0S TASTING – 1h – € 30pp
We’ll visit the winery and take a walk through the estate to admire the vineyards from where Poggio Le Coste’s excellent wines grow.
The tour includes the view from the Belvedere, overlooking the natural wonder of the vineyard amphitheater within the estate.
We’ll end the tour in the tasting room to savor Poggio Le Coste wines, including the iconic Barbera d’Asti Superiore.
A tasting of traditional products – cold cuts and baked goods – is also included.

This is thanks above all to the great variety of altitudes which oscillate from 100 meters of Casale Monferrato up to 549 meters of the Albugnano hill. Monferrato Astigiano wine area is an area with an average warm temperature. The hills are wide and not very steep. The most famous and characteristic grape of Monferrato Astigiano is certainly Barbera. Which finds one of its greatest expressions here, after Giacomo Bologna introduced the maturation of the grapes in barrique, giving Barbera a prominent place among the important Italian wines.
Among the other native red grapes of this area, Grignolino and Ruchè are certainly worth mentioning. As far as white grapes are concerned, the most famous vine is certainly the Moscato Bianco di Canelli. The Basso Monferrato, or Monferrato Casalese is an area strongly linked to wine production. As demonstrated by the rows that follow the profile of the hills, which do not reach heights higher than 400 metres. Wine production is mainly represented by four excellences: Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese Doc, Barbera del Monferrato Superiore Docg, Rubino di Cantavenna Doc and Gabiano Doc.
