
Founded by Bruno Ciocca, Cascina Giovinale was born in the heart of Nizza DOCG production, on the top of the San Nicolao hill in Nizza Monferrato. Its vines surround the Estate area, producing Barbera and Cortese grapes involved in making very identity wines, looking for elegance and aging in time. The owner Bruno was one of the first producers who bet on “Nizza Project”, from the very beginning of “Associazione Produttori Nizza” in the early 2000s to nowadays brand new “Consorzio del Nizza DOCG”. Cascina Giovinale wines come from a production chain selected control: every single label enhances its grape cluster and varietal notes, following the limited and quality wine production goal

OUR PRODUCTS

Metodo Classico Tommi Cuvée 36
From an ancient Cortese vineyard, this Classic Method sparkling wine is produced and aged for 36 months on the lees. Typical aromas of hay, almond, and nuts are complemented by subtle honeyed notes. These aromas confirm the olfactory sensations, combined with notes of bread crust.
Vino Rosato Radiosa
From the youngest parcel, the first to see the light of dawn, we craft a light, introductory rosé, vinified in stainless steel with only pressing (no maceration on the skins). It offers sweet, floral aromas with notes of small red fruits. Delicate, fresh aromas complemented by a good acidity.
Barbera d’Asti Rossa
Processed in stainless steel with maceration for 10-12 days, the low yield per hectare of 50hl concentrates the juices and varietal characteristics. Typical aromas of ripe red and black fruits, light balsamic notes. Deep and persistent aromas for a juicy drink with good acidity.
Barbera d’Asti Superiore Anna
100% Dalla Vigna Vecchia (over 70 years old), produced only in the finest vintages in very limited quantities, honoring the great Barberas of Monferrato. Aromas of black fruit compote, well-integrated balsamic and toasted notes. Soft and elegant aromas that confirm the olfactory sensations, with a long and persistent finish.
Nizza Anssèma
A selection of grapes from 6 hectares with a low yield of 45hl per hectare; matured in barrels and aged for at least three years in bottle. Aromas of ripe red and black fruits, typical balsamic notes combined with nuances of tobacco and cocoa. Intense and clear aromas with a long finish, well-integrated acidity and body.
Nizza Riserva Bruno MG
In the best years, part of the Nizza grapes are used to make the Riserva (only in 1.5L magnums), which is then aged for an additional year in wood. This wine has remarkable aging potential.

Degustazione pomeridiana in questa bella e storica Cantina.
La Cantina ha iniziato da poco a fare le Degustazioni e devo dire che siamo stati accolti da Stefano in maniera spettacolare.
Stefano ci mette una grande passione nel suo lavoro ed i vini che ci fatto assaggiare erano strepitosi….su tutti il Barbera superiore ed il Nizza, spettacolari veramente.

Ho assaggiato tutti i vini di Cascina Giovinale e sono tutti di ottima qualità. Io prediligo il rosso per cui Barbera, Ansema e AnnA sono i miei preferiti. l’Ansema un barbera barricato veramente super e AnnA (partita limitata di n. 1426 bottiglie) un barbera superiore indimenticabile

Bevo questi vini da molti anni e non mi deludono mai ,il mio preferito e’ il barbera barricato ,ricco di profumi e dal sapore corposo.
Da assaggiare assolutamente il nuovo “Anna” una produzione limitata davvero incredibile.
