Five Generations of Passion

  • Our History: Founded in 1895, Azienda Agricola Filippa is a historic family-run estate located in Agliano Terme, in the heart of the Monferrato hills. For five generations, we have been dedicated to producing authentic Piedmontese wines, with a special focus on Barbera d’Asti.
  • The Territory and Vineyards: Our nearly 9 hectares of vineyards enjoy a privileged location at 265 meters above sea level. Here, the perfect combination of mineral-rich soils and a favorable microclimate ensures optimal grape ripening, bringing to life wines of exceptional quality.
  • Our Philosophy: We believe in the perfect balance between traditional and innovative techniques. For this reason, we exclusively use hand-harvested and carefully selected grapes, creating wines that are the pure expression of our craftsmanship and passion.
  • Family and Hospitality: Today, the cellar and vineyard operations are run with dedication by Alfredo and his son Matteo. Matteo personally takes care of welcoming guests: through guided tours and tastings, he offers an immersive experience to help visitors discover our wines, the production process, and the passion behind every single bottle.

We came at the right time of the harvest season and have seen the full winery in practice. The tour was super great, not even to speak about the quality of the wines. Just wonderful.

This winetasting/winetour was amazing. Great storytelling and a good show on how the wine is produced, from harvesting, fermentation to storage, bottling and labelling. Finishing with a taste of 5 wines and various cheese salami etc. our best recommendations.

Winery for over 5 generations!

Very authentic winemaker with delicious local grape varieties and great advice. The winemaker takes a lot of time for advice. You gain great insights into the production, storage and tradition of the winegrower.
He speaks very good English and the wines are very tasty and special.
