Tenimenti Famiglia Cavallero was born from a family’s love for wine and for Piedmont, a land that has given us everything, and to which we give back with respect and dedication. Every bottle tells our journey: from the rediscovery of Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato, a once-forgotten grape variety that we helped bring to prominence, to the elegant expressions of Barbera, Barolo, and Timorasso, without forgetting our Vermouth di Torino, which carries centuries of history with a contemporary soul.
Our tasting experiences are not just simple samplings, but true emotional journeys: you will walk through the vineyards that guard our work, visit the cellar where the wine takes shape, and, glass in hand, discover the aromas, stories, and details that make our wines and spirits unique.
Here, there are no compromises: we select only the finest grapes, vinify with care, and let time do its work to offer you wines that do not follow trends but tell the story of who we are. An authentic, engaging, and introductory tour designed for those who want to discover the world of Tenimenti Famiglia Cavallero through the stories of our family and a visit to the most iconic areas of the winery: the vault of historic vintages and the wood room, where our reds are born.
This is followed by a guided tasting of four wines, including a white and three reds, with a focus on Ruchè, our signature wine. The experience concludes with a taste of Vermouth di Torino Superiore, an elegant, aromatic interpretation of Ruchè.
All accompanied by our artisanal breadsticks.
EXPERIENCE 2 – A JOURNEY INTO THE DEEPEST RUCHE’, BETWEEN HISTORY, ELEGANCE, AND EXPERIMENTATION – 2h – € 50pp

An immersive journey, designed for wine and Ruchè lovers who wish to explore all its nuances. After an initial introduction and a visit to the cellar and wood room, we will accompany you on an exclusive vertical tasting of the four most representative expressions of our Ruchè:

Net buiten het slaperige stadje Scurzolengo in de regio Asti ligt Cantine Sant’ Agata. Wij waren zijn hier in augustus op advies van meerdere locals langs gegaan. Het is een familie bedrijf, midden in het Ruchè gebied, waar Franco Cavallero de scepter zwaait. Een zeer gastvrije en passievolle man, hij nam uitgebreid de tijd voor ons terwijl ze midden in een verbouwing zaten. Zeer mooie wijn filosofie en manier van produceren in het algemeen. Met de plannen die er zijn voor de proeverijen en wijntour is dit echt iets waar je volgende jaar heen moet. Ben je in de buurt van Asti en hou je van wijn dan is mijn advies, ga hier langs! En dan hebben we het nog niet eens gehad over de ‘spirits’ (sterke dranken) die hij ook maakt.

Siamo stati qui per una degustazione. E’ stato bellissimo: abbiamo imparato tante cose nuove, bevuto del buon vino e trascorso due ore molto piacevoli, sembrava di essere tra amici e non volevo più andarcene! Un’esperienza molto piacevole che raccomando a tutti.

Abbiamo vissuto l’esperienza della bagna cauda day presso la cantina sant’agata. Accoglienza amichevole e passione per il loro lavoro! Ci hanno fatto assaggiare tutti i loro vini e la bagna cauda con verdure era ottima. Consigliatissimo!!
