It was 1974 when our father Piero bought the Cornarea hill, in Canale, located in the heart of Roero, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site along with Langhe and Monferrato.
His goal was simple but ambitious: to replant Arneis, an autochthonous white grape of ancient origins, which had by that time almost completely disappeared. Only a few rows were to be found within the Nebbiolo grape vineyards.
From 1975 to 1978 Piero, assisted by our mother Francesca, proceeded to plant 15 hectares of vineyards; 12 with arneis and 3 with nebbiolo.
Thus, Roero Arneis was born, and in 2005 it obtained the DOCG, at the same time as Roero, the great aged Nebbiolo of our area.
Today, still in the historic Cornarea vineyards, Roero Arneis, Roero, Nebbiolo d’Alba and Barbera are the speciality local wines we produce, and which are here offered in our tasting experiences.

Immer wieder intetessant mit Dottore Vino zu diskutieren. Die Weine sind Spitze, Preise adäquat und das Castello eine Wucht. Unbedingt während der Saison besuchen, im Winter ist nur der Weinkeller offen.
